SEQ-ST is unique in that has a Quality Setting that gives it great precision in the low frequencies, allowing you to make highly transparent adjustments without muddying the mix. Overall, it’s a great audio manipulation and “cleanup” tool to tweak the character of your mix, by altering different frequencies within the stereo field.
The SEQ-ST plugin is incredibly multi-functional.
First, the direct-draw interface and detailed spectrum analysis make it easy to quickly identify and specifically fine-tune your audio. You can also use it to capture the “flavour” of a piece of source audio, and then transfer it to your current work. This feature is great for restoration and harmonization work. Or you can use the same technique on individual tracks to unify different takes, microphone positions, and more.
And recently added to the SEQ-ST is the fluid-filter EQ morphing feature. This unlocks a multitude of creative sound design possibilities. With three independent EQ pairs, including dynamic & static pass filter effects and tempo multipliers, creative effects, beat-locked pulses and powerful morphs are easily achieved, with full dynamic visual feedback.
