Because low frequencies are non-directional, you don’t really benefit from having them in your stereo field, as they often contribute to a perceived lack of clarity and focus in your mix.
This plug-in lets you align and balance low frequencies with minimum effort.
It can also help you select a low-frequency cutoff point, and then sum everything to mono below that point. This eliminates “weak”, “hollow” or “flat” sounds, resulting in a tighter, more focused mix, and a clearer stereo image. You can even restore old recordings, and add power and clarity to the low end.
